Gmail is Google's web-based email client. Users can compose, send and receive email, and with Google's highly efficient search and indexing tools, you'll always be able to find them. All District staff and students have an @philasd.org Gmail mailbox with unlimited storage!
How do I import contacts for the students and staff at my school?
The District provides an online tool to help you import contact records for the students at your school, one grade level at a time.
We are in the process of creating a new way to import contact records into your Google contacts, so soon as we have it finished we will replace this link.
Can students receive email from outside addresses?
Students in grades 9 through 12 will be able to send and receive email with other addresses outside of the District. In compliance with the the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998, students in grades K through 8 will only be able to receive email from other @philasd.org users and from approved District partners.
