Add a new delivery method of an already approved training

What are the Delivery Methods?

  • In-person Training: A synchronous, face-to-face training; the trainer and participants are all together in the same location at the same time.

  • Live Online Training: A synchronous training, done during the same timeframe with other participants using an online platform.

    • Examples include an interactive, live webinar and (VILT) Virtual Instructor Led Training

  • Asynchronous Training: A self-paced training that is not live and not done during the same timeframe with other participants and/or the trainer, but done individually at the learner’s pace. The delivery is digital (software, hardware, internet) and/or print.

    • Examples include self-study, training delivered through an LMS (Learning Management System), computer-based training, correspondence courses, and virtual reality

  • Hybrid Training: A blended practice of using more than one delivery method (in-person, live online, asynchronous, synchronous, etc.) in one curriculum. Two or more methods would be selected and in the agenda an explanation would be required.

What are "Read and Reflects"

"Read and Reflects" are specific to the Early Learning Division (ELD). You can think of this title as copyrighted. Self-studies is the term that ORTP Trainers and Sponsoring Organizations will use.
