Depending on what you teach and when, you may or may not have had the chance met many other teachers in our adult school, and you may or may not be aware of who is included. Our school includes 3 basic groups: Community Ed, ESL and Preschool Family:
From Art to Birding, Business, Computers, Cooking, Music, Taiko, Woodworking, World Languages, and everything in between, we provide classes for English learners, parents, job seekers, travelers, hobbyists, and others who want to expand their skills. Whether students want to learn to cook, try their hand at something new or enhance their existing skills, we aim to meet lifelong learning needs and encourage new interests as well.
From Pre-Literacy to Advanced English language learners, our ESL program works with 2nd language learners from all over the world to get a better handle on how to navigate life in the U.S. and how to communicate more clearly in North American English. We also offer writing courses (available to native English speakers as well) and a citizenship preparation course.
PreSchool Family is a parent education, parent participation program serving families with children from birth through five years. The program is designed to offer parents an opportunity to learn about parenting and to actively participate in their child’s education. For children, the program offers a developmentally appropriate, play-based, educational experience.
