Dear PMHS Family,

The Pasadena Memorial High School Class of 2026 will graduate on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:00pm. Graduation will be held at Fertitta Center @ the University of Houston. The PMHS Graduation Ceremony is a solemn occasion and signifies a major accomplishment in your senior’s life. The faculty and staff of PMHS are proud of your senior for their accomplishments and want the ceremony to be a rewarding experience. All seniors are required to attend the following mandatory practices held in the gym in order to participate in the ceremony at Fertitta Center:

Monday, May 18, 2026 – 7:15 am

Tuesday, May 19, 2026 – 6:30 am

Wednesday, May 20, 2026 – 7:00 am

Thursday, May 21, 2026 – 3:30 pm

All senior students will be transported by PISD bus to the graduation ceremony and must have a permission slip on file. Permission slips will be passed out at school on  and will need to be returned to the student’s homeroom teacher. It is important to note that students who miss the bus will not participate in the graduation ceremony. Senior students are required to ride the bus to the ceremony, but are not required to ride back on the bus.  Please take time to read the attached Graduation Protocol which addresses the conduct, expectations, dress code, grooming, and consequences for noncompliance with these policies. Review these guidelines with your senior student and stress the importance of meeting all expectations and being on their best behavior. 

Students are not to bring purses or cameras to graduation or to campus prior to boarding busses for graduation. If a senior brings any of these items to the school prior to graduation, they will be asked to leave those items at the school and can picked up on the following day. Students will not have access to the holding area to retrieve their belongings after the ceremony. Any personal items including purses will be confiscated by University of Houston staff as well. Pasadena Memorial High School will not be held responsible for the loss of any other personal items. 

Parents and guests are to park in stadium garage at 6:30pm. Entrance into Fertitta Center will be on Holman street. There will be a $20 parking fee for each vehicle. Cash will not be accepted by parking officials. CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY. Please see attached map for the 3 optional parking zones. PISD will provide bus transportation for parents who wish to utilize this service. The bus will leave PMHS at 5:00pm. Please contact PMHS by May 8, 2026 at (713) 740-0390 to reserve a place on the bus leaving from Memorial High School.  Due to limited seating each student will be given 6 tickets for their guests. More information on how to get their tickets will be given at a later date. All graduation events will be live streamed for those family members unable to attend the graduation ceremony.

All purses, bags, packages, gifts, and other containers brought into the stadium will be searched.  So that entry into the stadium moves quickly and orderly, we recommend that all personal items be left in your locked vehicle.  Balloons, flowers, air horns, noisemakers, large signs, or chemical dispensers of mace or pepper spray will not be allowed.
