What an energizing and joyful start to the school year! This first week at Pasadena Memorial High School was filled with excitement as students and staff shared many smiling faces and warm reunions with returning friends. The positive energy in our hallways not only sets the tone for academic success but also builds the strong community spirit that we cherish here at Pasadena Memorial High School.
We are also incredibly proud to announce that the Texas Education Agency has released its accountability ratings, and Pasadena Memorial High School has been awarded an "A." In addition to this outstanding overall rating, our school was honored with distinction designations in several areas:
Academic Achievement in Mathematics
Top 25%: Comparative Academic Growth
Postsecondary Readiness
Top 25%: Comparative Closing the Gaps
These recognitions are a testament to the hard work of our teachers, students, and administration, and they underscore our commitment to excellence in education.
As we move forward, please keep in mind a few important school guidelines to ensure a safe and orderly environment:
Dress Code: Please ensure your student adheres to the dress code—no hats nor head coverings, shirts must be appropriately fitted so that no skin is shown on the back or midriff, and all backpacks must be clear or mesh.
Traffic Flow: Drop-off is only permitted in the front area. Please keep moving, as this is not a parking area.
Cell Phone Policy: All cell phones must be stored away from 7:10 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., regardless of off periods, dual credit classes, or imminent pick-up.
Looking ahead, there’s even more excitement on the horizon. We are gearing up for class elections, and homecoming is just around the corner. Be sure to mark your calendars—the Homecoming football game is scheduled for Thursday, September 4th, followed by the Homecoming dance on Friday, September 5th.
Here's to an amazing school year filled with growth, achievement, and many more memorable moments at Pasadena Memorial High School!
