This Thursday through Saturday we and other schools in our district will be hosting the McDonald's Texas Invitational. Schools from around the state and nation come to our area to show off their skills. 

 This is a large basketball tournament that brings in money for our district educational foundation and Deer Park's education foundation.  These funds are used to support our students in the classroom to facilitate innovative learning strategies, energize student achievement, and recognize and encourage excellence.

On Thursday and Friday, students will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to watch our Mavericks at the end of the school day. Each ticket is $2.00 and students will be let out of 7th period to go to the gym. There they will support our Maverick basketball teams!
