What is Maverick Academy?
This is our after-school study hall program designed to support student success. Core content teachers are available in the dining hall to help students with assignments, answer questions, and provide academic support. Unlike traditional tutorials, students can work on multiple subjects, collaborate with peers, and access help from different teachers all in one place.

Cell Phone Law Reminder - Texas House Bill 1481 requires all public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices during the school day. The law took effect on June 20, 2025, and applies to all Texas public school districts and charter schools.
Cell Phone Law Reminder - Texas House Bill 1481 requires all public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices during the school day. The law took effect on June 20, 2025, and applies to all Texas public school districts and charter schools.
To support compliance with state law and maintain a focused learning environment, students may not use personal communication devices during the school day while on school property. This includes cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other personal electronic devices.
