Testing season has begun!

It has been a great start to the second semester. Students are preparing for state and national exams. Be sure to encourage your student to reflect on their grades and assessments. Missing assignments could be a result of two things... Lack of completion OR is there something deeper. For example, did your student not complete the assignment because they don't understand the content? Did your student fail an assessment? Encourage your student to attend tutorials and MavTime. These are great opportunities for one-on-one support.

Here is our testing calendar for the remainder of February and March.  The following tests may or may not pertain to your student and their needs:

FEBRUARY 2026

9-13- TIA BOY Growth Assessments for 1 semester courses only!

11 – Mock STAAR English I-II Mock AP English Language & Literature

13 – End of fourth six weeks

18- Mock STAAR Biology/US History; AP US History Mock, AP Government Mock, AP Macroeconomics Mock; ECHS 2/20

25- Mock STAAR Algebra/TELPAS Reading/Writing Gr. 10, 11, 12; ECHS in ECSU on 2/27

MARCH 2026

2-3 – AP Science Mock Exams

3- ASVAB (optional- students will sign up via google form)

9-13 – Spring Break holiday (staff and students)

20- School Day SAT (grade 11)/Senior Games 

26- ASVAB Seminar (optional- for students who took ASVAB)
