The Church Part 3 - Serving in the Body

1 Corinthians 12:12-14

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many.

The local church is like a body with many different parts. Each member has a unique role to play. When we serve in the church, we contribute to the body's overall health and effectiveness.

Imagine your local church as a team with diverse talents. Just as a sports team needs players with different skills, the church needs individuals with various gifts and abilities. When each member does their part, the church functions at its best.

As teenagers, this is an exciting time to discover and develop your gifts. The church is a safe place to explore your talents, whether it's music, teaching, organizing events, or helping those in need. By serving within the church, you not only contribute to its growth but also experience personal growth and fulfillment.
