TIP OF THE MONTH

Parenting Tip of the Month:

Spiritual Growth Post-Camp

After an impactful week at camp where many decisions were made, and lives were changed, it’s essential to keep the momentum going. Here’s how you can support and nurture your child's spiritual growth:

1. Encourage Reflection and Sharing:

   - Ask your child to share their camp experience with you. Listen actively to their stories, the decisions they made, and how they feel God spoke to them during camp.

2. Create a Routine for Spiritual Growth:

   - Help your child establish a daily routine that includes prayer, Bible reading, and journaling. This routine can help solidify the commitments they made at camp.

3. Connect with Church Community:

   - Encourage your child to get involved in student ministry. This will provide ongoing support and community, reinforcing their spiritual journey.

4. Be a Role Model:

   - Demonstrate your own commitment to spiritual growth. Share your faith journey, participate in family devotions, and attend church together.

5. Provide Resources:

   - Offer books, devotionals, or podcasts that can help your child grow in their faith. Tailor these resources to their interests and the topics they were excited about at camp.

6. Pray Together:

   - Make time for family prayer. Praying together strengthens family bonds and shows your child that they are supported in their spiritual walk.

7. Celebrate Progress:

   - Acknowledge and celebrate the steps your child takes in their faith journey. Encouragement goes a long way in fostering a lasting commitment.
