GRADE PROMOTION

CREDIT LOAD MINIMUMS

Students may take no fewer than the credit minimum indicated below:

• 9th, 10th & 11th Graders: 35 credits

• 12th Graders: 32.5 credits

Note: 30 credits may be taken only with parent permission and with 15 credits scheduled in each semester.

GRADE LEVEL CREDIT REQUIREMENTS

In order to be promoted to the next grade level, students must earn the following credits by the end of the school year:

• 12th Grade - 90 credits*

• 11th Grade - 60 credits

• 10th Grade - 30 credits

*Must be eligible to graduate in June or August

Course credit is not applied until the completion of the course.

Note: For students who do not receive a passing grade during the school year in a course needed for graduation, summer school may be an option.
