This feature within the SIS program will streamline the process for teachers in rostering their students in Google Classroom and reflecting their Google Classroom gradebook(s) in their SIS gradebook(s). This is an optional tool for teachers. Here are some of the benefits from this feature:
Google Classroom rostering can be done through SIS instead of issuing codes to students!
Any students that are rostered in SIS but are not yet in the Google Classroom are automatically invited anytime a sync occurs.
Grades in Google Classroom can be automatically synced on demand to the SIS gradebook at the teachers discretion.
Grade changes made in Google Classroom would be automatically reflected in SIS when a teacher initiates a sync.

Elementary teachers are encouraged to roster their Google Classroom through SIS. However, Elementary teachers should not use assignment syncing since Google Classroom utilizes percentage-based grading rather than standards-based grading.
For initial support please reach out to your school's Gradebook Manager. If further assistance is needed we are happy to assist.
