Week beginning - Monday 1st September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
What an exciting first week it’s been! We’ve loved seeing you return with such enthusiasm and settle confidently into your new classrooms. This week has been all about reconnecting with friends, meeting new staff and getting used to our Year 4 routines and expectations.
To kick off our learning journey, we began with a fascinating hook activity—exploring x-rays and zoomed-in - under the microscope - images of the human body. This sparked lots of curiosity and thoughtful discussion, setting the stage for our central idea this term.
In maths, we’ve started working with numbers up to 1000, building confidence with place value. It’s been great to see your enthusiasm and focus.
Here’s to a term full of discovery, challenge and achievement!
