Week beginning - Monday 1st September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!Â
This week Year 3 have found themselves deserted on an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean! They have had to identify the natural resources that they would need to survive, explain the reasons for the location of their chosen base camp, design and build a shelter that would protect them against the weather and predators, and even had a go at filtering dirty river water to remove particles, so they would have something to drink (NB no water was actually drunk!)
We are pleased to say that their efforts so far helped them to make it to the end of the week. We're looking forward to seeing what challenges they face next week as they continue to find out about human settlements.
