Throughout the course of the first few modules, I will be inviting parents and carers in to have a coffee or tea. This will be an opportunity to get to know other parents and carers, and to ask me any questions, share ideas and find out what is available to you in the community. I can arrange for speakers to come in so if you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
I shall endeavour to answer your questions or find the answer for you!
These will be held in the afternoons before the end of the school day and will be year groups starting with EYFS.
Please check this area of the newsletter for more information, details will also be sent to you via MCAS. It would be lovely to meet as many of you as possible and welcome you to the new school year.

The NHS gives us access to many areas of support for our children. Below is some information on Emotional Wellbeing support, The Solihull Approach - Understanding Your Child and In Our Place, all of these are supported by the NHS and are great sources to support child development and to gain confidence with parenting techniques and getting to know your children. I have outlined some information and links for you to investigate.
If you are concerned about your child's wellbeing, perhaps you've seen a change in mood or they are frustrated or worried and you are unsure how to help them have a look at this website to find out how the Emotional Wellbeing Team may be able to help.
I am delighted to share with you the Solihull Approach for parenting. This amazing programme supports parents, carers and professionals with access to support for many different aspects of childhood, from newborn to teenage.
They offer free courses for families through their In our Place programmes, see here for details https://inourplace.co.uk/. NHS professionals and Early Help practitioners support the Solihull Approach and I would recommend the website to all families whether your child is struggling to sleep, their communication feels delayed, or you are worried about their eating habits, Solihull Approach website is a great tool for us all https://solihullapproachparenting.com/about-the-solihull-approach/
