Week beginning - Monday 1st September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
We have welcomed our wonderful new children in to our setting this week. As the week has progressed the children have transitioned beautifully by staying at school for a little longer each day. We have been incredibly busy settling in to new routines and exploring our new environment. Please do not allow your children to play on the equipment or with the resources that we have put out on the playground before or after school. The children are becoming increasingly independent by putting on their own coats, collecting their water bottles and tidying away resources when they have finished using them.
We have started our phonic learning by listening to different sounds. We had to distinguish between different animal sounds and environmental sounds by going on a walk around our outside area. Children are now beginning to sing simple number songs with enjoyment. Ask them to sing one to you!

Below you will find any important information for next week
Tuesday - Our first PE day!
Wednesday - PE
Tuesdays and Wednesdays going forward will be our PE days, please wear your PE kit into school on these days.
To ensure a smooth and safe start to the day, we kindly request that parents and carers avoid walking across the blue playground area. We also ask that you do not send your child in with a snack unless this has been arranged with your class teacher, as we provide all snacks for them. Thank you!
