Week beginning - Monday 15th September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week, within our inquiry, we have been investigating Charles Darwin's voyage on the HMS Beagle and his life as a whole, to write a biography. Charles Darwin is one of the significant individuals within our first line of enquiry ('summarise the discoveries made by significant individuals') and in the coming weeks we will go on to further investigate evolution, adaptation, inheritance and natural selection. This week, we discovered that there is a prominent statue of Darwin within the Hintze Hall in the Natural History Museum. A reminder: if you haven't yet signed up for the trip, please do so soon!
In maths, we have focused on number lines, addition, subtraction and common factors.
In PE, we have looked at passing and moving within Netball games and Bikeability sessions have come to an end!
