Week beginning - Monday 22nd September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
Year 4 have flourished this week. They have worked hard to become deep thinkers and inquirers as they continued their investiagtion into lifestyles and the impact on the human body. During inquiry, the children looked and sorted the parts of the digestive system, discussing the role each part played and where it should be located. In PE, the children continued to unlock their Tag Rugby skills, working on attacking and defending tactics. We finished the week with European Languages Day! It was wonderful to see the children share their knowledge and personal experiences.
4S
Aoife has been a knowledgeable and principled learner. It has been wonderful to see her so involved in our inquiry- asking questions and confidently sharing her existing knowledge with the class. Keep up the brilliant learning!
4R
Phoebe has been an enthusiastic and knowledgeable learner this week. She produced a detailed and well-structured non-chronological report about teeth, making excellent use of subheadings and her Canva plan to work independently. Phoebe was delighted to share her work—and rightly so, as it was something to be proud of!
4SM
This week Edward has been an enthusiastic learner, thinking deeply about reasoning problems in maths and tactics in PE. Edward was a key contributor to class discussions, so thank you Edward! Well done, keep it up!
