Week beginning - Monday 1st December 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
What an exciting week in Year 4!
🎤 Paddock Wood’s Got Talent Auditions
A huge well done to all the brave performers who showcased their amazing talents during the auditions. Your confidence and creativity were truly inspiring! We also want to celebrate our fantastic audience, who showed respect and encouragement throughout—what a brilliant example of teamwork and positivity.
In Reading this week, we explored texts about anti-bullying in a narrative, discussing how to show compassion and empathy towards others. Pupils worked hard to develop their inference skills, thinking deeply about characters’ feelings and actions. These conversations reminded us how important kindness is in our daily lives.
In our inquiry sessions, pupils have been planning exciting adventure stories as time travellers, journeying from the present day back to Roman times! Their ideas include meeting Roman citizens, exploring ancient architecture, and discovering what life was like centuries ago. We can’t wait to see these imaginative stories come to life in the coming weeks.
Thank you, Year 4, for your enthusiasm and excellent Attitude to Learning. Keep shining brightly!
