Breathe for Change is a comprehensive wellness and social-emotional learning (SEL) program designed by educators, for educators. Founded by Dr. Ilana Nankin, the program aims to improve educator well-being, enhance student outcomes, and foster inclusive, mindful learning environments.
The Breathe For Change training blends mindfulness, yoga, SEL practices, and community building. Educators learn research-based strategies to care for themselves and integrate mindfulness and SEL into their classrooms. The program supports the development of emotional intelligence, compassionate communication, and inclusive teaching practices.
