Hastings Music Festival

Congratulations to our pupils from Year 4 who took part in the Hastings Musical Festival.  They sang beautifully, sharing a special song, written for our school.  We have been very fortunate to have Andy Nunn providing singing lessons with the children to prepare them and the opportunity was funded by Music Lifeline.

The adjudicator, Ann Hohenkerk, provided the following feedback:

“Great two-part singing. Very expressive, confident and enthusiastic with a beautiful ending.”

Two of our pupils, Milly and Emily, volunteered to perform in the Hastings Festival finale, singing 'I Am Me' with Andy on the piano; it was delightful and a wonderful opportunity for them. Mr Byford and Mrs Campbell were very proud and loved watching them amongst all the other talented people showcasing some fabulous acts.

We are all very proud of the children who took part. They were wonderful representatives of OVPA and a credit to us.
