NeCGA FLAGship Program
Scholarship: Nebraska Corn Growers Association Future Leaders in Ag Scholarship Program (FLAGship Program)
Description: The NeCGA Future Leaders in Ag Scholarship Program (FLAGship Program) is open to Nebraska high school seniors or college freshmen who are continuing their education in Nebraska and pursuing a degree in an ag-related field or non-ag-related field. The FLAGship Program is a scholarship program for future ag leaders in Nebraska. The Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) will award up to five $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors or college freshmen in the state of Nebraska.
Eligibility Requirements:
Students must be a member of NeCGA or the son/daughter of a NeCGA member.
The application for the FLAGship Program must include two letters of recommendation, a current resume, as well as proof that the student is continuing their education.
The students are also asked to explain what issues they feel the ag industry is currently facing.
NeCGA is also teaming up with the National Corn Growers Association to provide students with multiple scholarship opportunities. With one application, students will be applying for their affiliated state application as well as any applicable NCGA scholarship. Several of Nebraska’s local associations are also offering scholarships, which can be found under the same link. All applications must be submitted via the NCGA scholarship application link.
