Description: Through the generosity of The Harper Family Foundation, the College of Saint Mary is helping to provide a debt-free pathway to 100 nursing students over the next four years! Charles “Mike” Harper and his late wife Joan “Josie” launched The Harper Family Foundation to create a legacy of giving. Josie was a nurse who passed away from cancer. Their goal has become to create lasting and impactful contributions. 

The Josie Harper Nursing Scholarship grants $10,000 annually to awarded scholars. This Scholarship is automatically renewable each year through the completion of your BSN degree.

Eligibility Requirements 

• Applied to one of the following:

  • Practical Nursing Certificate (PNC), as a new student beginning in May.

  • Pre-Nursing program as a new student beginning in August

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program as a new student beginning in August

• Financial need as demonstrated by FAFSA.

Application Deadline: February 1st and March 15th
