Scholarship: Midland University Scholarships

Description: Midland University offers four pathways for students to earn a scholarship at Midland University:

• Athletics - Midland offers the largest athletic program in the state with 33 varsity sports. Our student-athletes train with invested coaches and mentors who are driven to help them succeed on the field and in the classroom.

• Arts - Our Arts Department allows students to display their talents in a variety of programs; everything from on-stage performances to making sure things go smoothly behind the scenes. There are seven scholarshipped programs in the Arts Department.

• Honors - Students who carry a GPA of 3.5 or above and/or a 27 ACT are eligible to be part of the Howard Hanson Honors Program at Midland. The Honors Program aspires to create an intellectual home for students who desire enhanced academic challenges. 

• Presidential - This scholarship program is for students of many interests and skill sets. ALL accepted students who are not planning to pursue another pathway are eligible for this scholarship.

Selection: 

• Selection is based on application information and acceptance into Midland University, and/or 

• Selection is based on the recommendation from the specific department (Athletic, Art, Speech).
