We understand that all learners are unique and progress at different rates. To support this, we use curriculum milestones to track progress, identify next steps, and ensure learning remains challenging and appropriate for each individual.
For pupils with complex additional support needs, milestones are used to create personalised learning pathways. These milestones help break learning into smaller, meaningful steps, allowing us to recognise achievement and build confidence at every stage. We work closely with families, support staff, and specialists to ensure that each young person receives the support they need to succeed.
Riverside School is committed to inclusive education. Our staff work collaboratively across disciplines to meet learners’ needs, using adaptive teaching strategies and innovative technology to support different learning styles.
We aim to create nurturing, engaging, and relevant learning environment where all pupils are empowered to reach their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.
