Dear Parents/Carers and Visitors,
I hope this website provides you with essential day-to-day information while also reflecting the vision and values we uphold at Riverside School.
As we begin our second year, Riverside School continues to grow as a specialist establishment within West Dunbartonshire, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for children and young people with additional support needs. Since opening in August 2025, we have worked hard to create an inclusive, nurturing, and aspirational environment where every pupil feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Our school offers a broad and enriching curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of our learners, complemented by excellent facilities designed to enhance their educational experience. As we build on the successes of our first year, we remain committed to fostering strong partnerships with families and ensuring that we work together to provide the very best opportunities for our pupils.
Through collaboration with a range of agencies and organisations, we strive to meet the individual needs of every child and young person, ensuring they feel safe, happy, respected, and included within our school community.
Parents and carers are a vital part of this journey, and I look forward to continuing to build strong, positive relationships with you as our school develops. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to get in touch, whether by phone, email, or by visiting us in person.
Yours sincerely,
Victor James Cannon
