Grading

Grading for projects is based on check points and slide completion. The grade sheet for the project is shown to the right. Slides for each check point are graded on the following scale:

5 - (GREAT - superior and thorough in every detail)

4 - (GOOD - well-planned and completed with minor defects)

3 - (OK/PASSING - completed at the most basic level with defects)

2 - (POOR - multiple defects)

1 - (INCOMPLETE - multiple defects and/or missing parts)

0 - (MISSING - failed to complete)

Late checks will receive a 50% reduction in grade for that check!

Team Planning

Depending on class sizes, most PBL teams will be a mixed group covering the following four positions. These positions may overlap or be shared to an extent, but each group member must specialize in a position.

Layout/Arts/Graphics
