In this assignment for week 11 of my summer assignment. I was task to read on how nature crystals are made and how different factors can change a crystal's height, lengths, and color. After the reading, I had to create a research poster on my findings relating to the reading. I was given and outside sources as well. My poster focused on arrangement of atoms can make a crystal density and durability change drastically. I really like to research on this topic and tried my best putting the correct information on the poster. There were things that I didn't really understand, but I pushed through and got it done.
In this assignment for week 10 of my summer assignment, I was tasked to grow a crystal and observer its growth. Due to circumstances, I could not grow a crystal. But did research on others who did. The reason this is a growth is that I didn't really understand how the growth of the crystal worked. If I had made my crystal, it would have most likely have failed. If I could back, I would make time for my crystal to actually do the lab.
In this assignment, my class and I were tasked to learn and understand light waves and how radiation and color correlate. We learned about constant values such as the speed of light and that make calculations of wave lengths easy. This assignment was fun for me, the question was spread out and different enough to catch my attention. I did my best on it and receive a 100 for it. This assignment help my master wavelengths and will be a great help for any test to come on it.
In this assignment, I took a quiz on Planck's Constant. We took a mini leason on it minutes before and I was fairly confident in my abilities but was worng. At first the questions were gong find but when it came to adding more then 2 derivatives I was lost. The quiz was 3 qeastions so all i needed was to get one wrong to not get a passing score. in the end I recived a 66, if I could have redone it, I would have payed more attention and try harder on the things i knew i didnt understand.
In this assignment, the class was given work to conduct research of infrared light and the electromagnetic spectrum. I had previous knowledge about this topic from personal involvement during me free time. So I was already well embedded in the topic, while doing the work it was like a refresher for my brain on something it was already well knowledgeable in. finishing the assignment was fun and easy. When I receive the grade for this, I was pleased and understood that I deserved in.
In this assignment, the class was tasked to take a test on all of 1.4 & 1.5. before the test was taken, we were given a pre-test assignment to review and prepared us. At the ended of the review, there was a sheet called a cheat sheet to write down any notes that you could need to remember. I was under the impression that all I had written down was good enough, but I was wrong. In the end of the test I receive a 42, the notes that I took were practically unless. I understood to really understand the complex you must be well embrace with the basics, which I was not. If I could change anything before I took this test, I would re-learn the basics and not try to skip ahead.
