Computer Integrated Manufacturing

In this assignment, we needed to manufacture an Automated Guided Vehicle by using vex parts to test on a racecourse. The project was one of the first big project given to us in the beginning of the year. My group and I followed all the blueprints to make the AGV and were one of the first to finish, and the first group to ever complete the track fully. The vehicle must have contained a manual start button, must stop at provided intersections for 6 seconds, must be able to carry cargo from start to finish, and must have an emergency stop switch. This project overall took about 2 weeks to complete. For this assessment, my group and I received a 100.

In this assignment, we needed to draw a concept sketch for a project focusing on conveyor belts to simulate an assembly line. My group and I had no drawing experience, and did not know where we were going to start. We did not do a great job, we rush and didn't draw well. If I could go back, I would spend more time on the drawing and put more effort into it. In this assessment, we received an 85.

In this assignment, I needed to create my initials using absolute coordinates in G&M code. We as a class had gone over how to use the program and operate the CNC machine, which is CNC motion. It took me a while to understand and get absolute coordinates to work, but after some help from a fellow classmate in a day I finish the assignment and received a 100.

In this assignment, I needed to complete a unit 2 vocabulary test on reappearing words used in that marking period. I did not study for this text and didn't really remember we were going to be taking it. I went into it bide and suffer the consequences for it. I received a 75 for the test. If I could go back and redo this, would have studied for this test, so I could have gone in there being the best that I could be and not being lazy and having bad management 

In this assignment, I need to write a presentation on a topic pick out by me and its history and correlation towards automation. The topic I chose was Star Wars, I did extensive research and wrote a good presentation to present towards the whole class. I went up towards the class and presented what I did, I spook loudly and at a pace where everyone could understand me and my work. In the end, I received a 95 of the assignment.

In this assignment, the class needed to group up into teams of 5 and try to simulate that we were a manager of an engineering firm that has been hired by a local rim manufacturer. We would have to create something that would use air to push and move around the product. For this project, we were given around 3 weeks to do it. In the beginning my group was doing alright, nothing going wrong, but towards the end nothing was going right. Are project would not run properly, there was always something wrong with it. In the end, we finish the build and coding, but it would just not run. If I had gone back, I would have tried to spend more time testing than building the project.

In this assignment, i needed t create a flow chart on the up incoming assignment that my group and I are creating. The flow chart was to represent a simulation of a factory that manufacture metal cards. In this flow chart, I did not give t my all to make it look presentable. Do to that I received an 85, and I'm disappointed that I could have had a better grade if had put more effort. If I could go back, I would have put more time into making it look professional.
