U.S. History II

I got a really good grade for this assignment because I understood it and would well with my partners. For the assignment, we had to play in a role as an African American, and we were presented problems that we could choose to follow or decline. This work was group work, which is my strong suite, so I had to have done well on it.  

I didn't do so well on this assignment, this is the lowest scored work I have gotten this marking period. For this assignment, I had to read a document about the Industrial Revolution and the Growth of Cities, then answer questions. I had quickly gone over it and did not really understand the assignment, but still answering the question which cause my to fail. Next time, I should take my time and not rush assignments that I had plenty of time to complete.  

In this assignment, I needed to come up with a draft of a self-made historically accurate narrative about a demographic during the Great Depression. This was individual work, and I try my best creating a story that made sense to me and the reader. I receive a good grade for this assignment and I think I did a great job.

In this assignment, I had to write a 3-page essay about if there is a racial school segregation problem in New Jersey. We were given about a week to write the draft and another week to write the final. I did not do ideal in the assignment, due to the fact that I didn't do much research and only use the first information provided to me. I did not go into detail into my research, making me receive a 78.

In this assignment, my group and I needed to complete a classwork activity on the Korean War. We were tasked with looking at the multiple documents provided and answering the questions. My group and I took are time and went through the documents thoroughly. This caused us to receive a good grade and do really well.

In this assignment, I was tasked with creating a political cartoon right after I learned and annotated on some. We were given the whole period to design a political carton on the escalation of war in Vietnam. If I could go back and redo the assignment, I would have put more effort and thought into my design. Because of my carelessness, I received a grade that I did not like.

In this assignment, the class was assigned to go through discussion questions document on the My Lai Massacre. We previously watched a documentary on the subject and were given this assignment in correlation. We, as a class, went through question by question and conducted in a class discussion. I added some good points in the discussion, leading to me receiving a good grade.

In this assignment, I was given a speech to read, analyze ad answer questions on. The speech was The Ballot or the Bullet by Malcolm X. I received a 70 for this assignment and did not do so well. The reason for that is I did not fully read the excerpt, I skimmed over it and try to find keywords that could help me answer the question. If I could go back and redo this assignment, I would give my self more time, read the full speech, and not try to cheat my way through.
