In this assignment, I was assigned to a group, and we were task to advertise an ancient empire of are selection. The empire that we picked was the Songhai Empire. We did research on some common jobs and duties, What was the currency used in your nation?, How did that affect the people?, and What was the style of government was it? After multiply days of research and team collaboration, we put all of are work onto a brochure and presented it to the class. I felt well inform on my topic so when it came to the presentation there were no problems and I believed I presented well in the end I receive a 90 for this counting as a test grade

In this assignment, I was tasked to create a two-page paper that highlights an innovation created between 650-1450 that is still relevant today. While highlighting, How did it change the ancient world, and how is it still used today? The topic that I chose was agriculture and how it has its roots sank into human history. I had to do extensive research to proper finish this assignment. When I was done with it, I wasn't really proud of the work, to me, it felt repetitive and fluff. But in the end i received a good grade, but in my head i didn't really feel like I deserved it. In the future, I would have spent more time try to really know my topic and get comfortable with it. 

In this assignment I was tasked to find five rare goods from the west, not only procuring as much as I could with the funds allotted but also with its history. Each good needed to have a report with at least 200 words and must have at least one citation. The main goal was to practice research and analysis to show the significance of each trade good I picked. Highlighting how it made a difference in ancient times. In the beginning to find specifics on the goods I chose was hard, but after some assistance from Mr. Johnson it was a little easier. After I passed that hurdle, the rest were easy, and I finish completing on the required criteria. That lead me to receive a 100 on this assignment 

In this assignment, I was tasked to read GUJARAT'S TRADE WITH SOUTH EAST ASIA then answer questions in the time period of 2 classes.  The goal was that as I continued reading the Gujarat Trade document, keep in mind the questions below.  As well as look for quotes and evidence to support your answer to the reading questions. While answering the questions, I was often stumped and not know what to write about. I did not mange my time too well, which caused me to basically waste the first day trying to understand the passage. In the end, to cover up with my lack of knowledge and input, I used an excessive amount of quotes drowning out my messages at times. I didn't receive a great grade for this and if I could do it again I would manage my time way better.

In this assignment, I was tasked to read a poem from the link below. Record the name of the poem and the author below, along with a response. Your response can be a paragraph response (8 sentences minimum), A photo collage A drawing/art work of some sorts: Along with a description, and Video Music. I went with a video because I felt most comfortable with it. The poem that I picked was "won’t you celebrate with me" by Lucille Clifton.  In my video, I touched upon how it made me feel, and what real world connection can I make with it. In the end because I was so comfortable making a video I received a 100% as a homework grade for it.

In this assignment, we were tasked to show my understanding of this unit’s vocabulary and terms and to create a unique story using TEN of this unit’s vocabulary words. The story needed to be creative and fun, but it needs to make sense and be accurate to the definitions of the terms. The requirement was for me to use 10 vocabulary words, underline them in the story Your story should be engaging to read and leave the reader satisfied There is a 2 paragraph requirement. When I was done with it, I wasn't really proud of the work, to me, it felt repetitive and fluff. In the end I received an alright grade, but in my head I didn't really feel like I deserved it. In the future, I would have spent more time try to really know my topic and get comfortable with it. 

In this assignment, my group and I were tasked to choose to investigate a newly formed nation in Africa due to Imperialism. We would have to research the following by conducting a before and after report. Investigate the nation of our choice and clearly explain the effects of colonization. We were graded not just on our research, but also on your presentation. My group and I decide to conduct research and explain Libya. We researched their Government, way of life, major events, and how imperialism changed the nation. Are information was clear and concise and due to that we received a 100%  

In this assignment, my group and I were tasked to choose to investigate a newly formed nation in Africa due to Imperialism. Why chose are country and had to present the information that we spent 2 weeks gathering. Are information was great and all, but the way we presented needed some help. The slides weren't as pretty as we could have made it, and the group would make a lot of common mistakes when presenting.  We were graded not just on our research, but also on your presentation.  Leading us to get a good grade, but not a grade I wanted. In the future be, I will focus on being more organized and in well-kept in are information telling and presenting skills.
