This assignment was a presentation based on different topics of World War I. The specific topic my group had was Trench Warfare and New Weapons. This which consists of what trench warfare and new weapons are and how they affected World War I. The objective of this assignment was to recap and teach an audience about our topic while being able to look at the audience. This assignment connects to a similar assignment that was done last year only was it done individually instead of in groups. What I learned from this assignment is how to not read from a screen and how to be able to memorize information to teach an audience. I enjoyed doing this assignment because it could also set me up for the future of doing more presentations.

This assignment was an essay written on the circumstances of Reconstruction and if it was successful or not. In this assignment, the information given was to be sourced in APA format and demonstrate an answer to the prompt's question. This assignment could connect to debates because you are always told to pick a side in which others will not always be on that side. What I learned from this assignment is how to write a correct thesis and an exeptional essay using the time limit and correct time management. This assignment also challenged me to use my perspective of reconstruction to decide if it succeeded or not. What I could do to improve on this assignment is to use better word choices throughout and to better my grammar, and analysis skills while writing an essay.

This assignment was a Authentic Assesment based on the New Deal and all the laws and acts that were enforced during the time. The assignment fit into the overall unit by corresponding with the New Deal, and fitting into the topic of the Great Depression. The assignment showcased my strengths in class by involving talking which is one of the strong suits that I have in order to explain the law that I was given. This assignment connects to the real world by learning about others, using listening and writing skills and to be able to explain a topic to someone numerous times. To complete this assignment we needed to research a topic, then write a summary, lastly we had to explain to others based on what we wrote. What I learned from this assignment was to write clearly and consicely about a topic just from someone telling me about it.

This assignment was a quiz grade but a draft of my essay which is a test grade. This essay was about the discussion of segregation in New Jersey schools, and we had to write a persuasive essay on is it a problem. This assignment connects to the real world by using present problems to further expand on the things that happened in the generation before us. What I learned from this assignment was how to persuade the audience into believing my side and, also to write using Eschew Obfuscation, in order to please and make my audience understand that segregation in schools is indeed a problem. What I could do to improve on this assignment is to prepare more and to focus more on my grammar when writing essays. This is also to ensure that the target audience really understands the point that I am trying to give.
This assignment was an Authentic Assesment based on a political cartoon. In this cartoon the goal was to describe the escalation of the Vietnam War, and to add analogy and irony within it. This assignment fit into the overall unit because it revolved around the Cold War, and the policy of containment. This assignment showcased a strength of mine by using illustrations as a part of the assignment. On this assignment I got a 94%. Lastly, what I learned from this assignment is that political cartoons can be used to develop an image of how different situations actually are, and can be used to help many people understand.

This assignment was a test grade and it was to write a foriegn policy based on what an advisor's point on the Korean War was. The advisor was me and I had to come up with the point that I was within in the Korean War. I got a 78% on this assignment mainly because I thought it was really challenging and I have not done it before. What I learned from this assignment is to fix my word choice within my work. What I could do to improve this assignment in the future, is to be able to write a more efficient and accurate foreign policy that has correct information. This is because I got a lot of comments on how I did not use accurate information.

This assignment was a historical narrative in which we had to write based on a 'hidden gem' in the civil rights movement. This assignment was a test grade and I got a 98% on it. This assignment showcased my strenghts because narrative writing is what I am confident in within both history and writing. This assignment was related to the overall unit because of the revolvement around the civil rights movement. What I learned from this assignment is to listen to what others feedback is because, my sister actually put comments in my narrative to help me showcase the weaknesses that may be improved.
This assignment was a Authentic Assessment based on the Greensboro Sit-in hosted by the SNCC. This assignment relates to the unit because of the overall revolvement around the civil rights movement as well. I recieved a 81% on this assignment. I can improve this assignment in the future by using more detail to persuade students in 1960 at North Carolina A&T. What I learned from this assignment is to learn how to express creative aspects while relating to the likable culture and persuasion probability that occured in the past.
