This assignment was an Authentic Assessment on completing the square. On this assignment, there were two problems that asked us students to complete the square without a calculator. I got 100 percent on this assignment, and I am very proud of this assignment considering it is one of the only ones I got a high grade on. What I learned from this assignment is to not overthink math. This is because all I had to do for the second problem was subtract 49/4 from 100/4 to get 51/4. What was challenging about this assignment was the first problem because I could not figure out the square of one of the fractions.
This assignment was a district assessment. The objective of the assignment was to reflect on what we learned in the past few weeks. This assignment relates to the unit by taking questions from each lesson in order to assess us. What I learned from this assignment is to study past lessons more and to take notes because that is what will help me understand the concept of the lesson. To improve on this assignment next time I could review previous strategies and lessons to have a mindset on what I could do.
This assignment was an authentic assessment based on inverse. The objective of this assignment was to find the inverse, domain and range for each. The assignment relates to the units based on graphing and finding different factors of an equation. What I learned from this assignment is how to find inverse from different equations and how to use my learning for future tests. What was challenging about this assignment was the inverse part because you had to cross multiply.
This assignment was an authentic assessment on exponents. What was challenging about this assignment was getting the negative numbers into positive and the fractions that were present in another fraction. This assignment connects to the real world because you have to find the other side of people in order to know if they are real. What I learned from this assignment was to be able to simplify exponents in fractions to make them smaller. What I can do to improve in this assignment is to learn how to get rid of fractions and how to work with them.
This assignment was a Aunthentic Assessment based on a car problem. The objective of this assignment was to use exponents in order to find the amount of money a car will be worth after a certain amount of time. On this assignment I got a 100% and was very suprised to that result as well. This assignment showcased my strengths by using information that I know very well on an assesment to ensure that I get a good grade. What I have learned from this assignment is how to find out how much somethings will be worth at the same time.
This assignment was also an Aunthentic Assessment on Aleks based on what we have learned in the previous 2-3 weeks. This assessment was on e and ln and it was basically a overview on everything we learned within it. On this assignment I got an 81% which was only 3 wrong. This assignment was challenging because I did not really know the exponent rules by head. What I could do to improve this assignment for the future could be to study the exponent rules more. What I learned from this assignment is to solve things on paper and to not rely on mental math to save you, else you could get a step wrong and not know it.
