1) Listening Test: students listen and view a Spanish leisure activities video on their own laptops while answering multiple choice comprehension questions. Students are marked on demonstration of aural comprehension.
2) Writing Test: students write one e-mail and one series of text messages about leisure activities. The e-mail should be written in formal register and the text messages in informal register. Each text should be 30-70 words long. Students are marked on the message conveyed, accurate use of e-mail and text message conventions and the accuracy of their language.
