Overview of Mill Rythe, Buckden and trips.

Our Year 6 children spend five days in Mill Rythe, an outdoor education facility near Portsmouth. They do a range of activities including abseiling, orienteering, rock climbing etc.

In Year 5 our pupils have their first experience of a residential trip. In May/June each class spends three days at the Claret Centre in Buckden Towers in Cambridgeshire where they experience team work, collaborative learning, decision making whilst having time for reflection on their own spiritual journey.

In Year 5 our pupils spend 3 days spread over two terms at Suntrap Field Study Centre in Epping Forest. The overall focus of the visits is investigative science and environmental education
