Creative iMedia is all about designing and creating digital products like websites, apps, games, and graphics. It blends creativity with technology, giving you the skills to plan, develop, and present media products. You will learn about graphic design, video editing, animation, and the software used in the media industry. It’s perfect if you enjoy being creative and want to explore digital media and design.
There are two mandatory units; the first is Creative iMedia in the Media Industry where you will learn about the sectors, products and job roles that form the media industry; legal and ethical issues considered, and the processes used to plan and create digital media products. The second is Visual identity and digital graphics where you will learn about how to develop brands and visual identities for clients; how to apply the concepts of graphic design to create original digital graphics and a range of design skills using graphics software.
Lastly, there is one optional unit - Characters and Comics where students will create an original character and a multiple page comic.
