Computer Science is the study of how computers work and how we can use them to solve problems. It’s more than just using technology — you will learn how to write code using Python, understand how data is stored, how computers connect over networks, and how hardware and software work together. Computer Science is the foundation of modern technology, from apps and games to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
The course is broken down into two parts; the first is a written paper covering the theoretical concepts of Computational Thinking, Data, Computers (hardware and software), Networks and Impact and Issues. The second paper is a practical programming exam requiring students to write code using Python under examination conditions.
