I am certified in Infection Prevention and maintaining good infection control practices in the Health Suite.  A medical grade HEPA Filter is in use daily and all chairs and furniture are wiped down with Disinfecting Wipes at regular intervals throughout the day and at the end of each day.  You will always see me wearing a mask to help ensure that I do not spread illness from one student to another.  I am encouraging cough etiquette (coughing into the elbow instead of into hands or into the open air) and good hand washing. 

In addition to the COVID-19 virus which continues to evolve and change, we are coming up on cold and flu season.  If your child is sick, please do not send him or her to school.  If your child has a fever, they should not return to school until he or she is fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen. 

I will communicate any patterns of illness in a particular class or within the school to the principal and pertinent  information will be shared with the school community, and if applicable, to local and state health departments .

The safety and well-being of everyone at the school is our top-priority.
