OKCPS Middle School and High School Backpack Policy

Middle Schools

Belle Isle MS: Backpacks allowed

Classen SAS MS: Backpacks allowed

FD Moon MS: Clear or mesh backpacks only. Strongly encourage no backpacks. All students will have a 2 inch binder for class work. Girls can have small purses for personal items

Jefferson MS: Clear or mesh backpacks only

John Marshall MS: Clear backpacks only

Mary Golda Ross MS: Clear backpacks only

Rogers MS: No backpack requirements

Roosevelt MS: No backpacks. Trapper keepers are allowed

Skyline MS: No backpacks or trapper keepers

Southeast MS: Mesh or clear backpacks preferred

Taft MS: Clear backpacks only

Webster MS: Clear backpacks only

High Schools

Belle Isle HS: Backpacks allowed

Capitol Hill: Clear backpacks only

Classen SAS at NE: Backpacks allowed

Douglass HS: No backpack requirements

John Marshall HS: Clear backpacks and purses only

NW Classen HS: Clear backpacks only

Southeast HS: No backpack requirements

Star Spencer: No backpack requirements

U.S. Grant: No backpack requirements

Emerson North: No backpacks allowed. There are 2 exceptions:

• Small Clutch Bag will be allowed (the size of an adult hand) (4.5” x 6.5”)

• Teen parents carrying baby supplies, or others that require a bag for a job after school

• Any approved backpack stays in the front office after a security check

Emerson South: No backpacks allowed. Only Chromebook bags.

Putnam Heights: Backpacks allowed
