Language Link provides free over-the-phone interpretation services for our families at all of our schools. The service is provided at no cost to families with over 240 languages available. School staff will be available at the front office for families to identify the language they speak.
Schools should print the Point at Your Language Card and have it available at the front office for families to identify the language they speak.
For private meetings with non English speaking parents, schools should have available a quiet room with a phone that has a speakerphone option. The teacher or staff will proceed to access the service by dialing the required numbers and will then press speaker to enable the interpreter to listen to both parties and translate the conversation over the phone.
