Meet the Educator Evening
We cordially invite you to our in-person Open House (Meet the Educator) evening. We will be hosting this event on Thursday, September 18th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. It’s an opportunity for families to visit the school and see their child’s classroom.
The purpose of this event is to briefly connect with teachers to establish a partnership in helping students achieve. Keep in mind that teachers have just met your child and are in the process of establishing routines and relationships. Data and reporting on progress will happen later in the term.
We look forward to meeting our St. Luke Nepean families.
It’s the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. This year, our school is going all out to fundraise for cancer research! We’re super excited to take part! Please support our students' fundraising efforts and donate today by going to our school’s fundraising link: St. Luke Catholic School Fundraising Page: https://schools.terryfox.ca/StLukeCSNepean.
This year our school Terry Fox Run will take place on Friday, September 26th starting at 1:15pm in our school yard. Parents/Guardians and grandparents are invited to join us as we walk/run for Terry and for cancer research. More information to follow next week.
Thank you for keeping Terry’s dream alive.
To ensure the safety of all our students during morning arrival, we kindly request your cooperation.
When dropping off your child, please use one of the following designated routes:
The main gate at the front of the school
The designated path at the back of the school
Kindergarten Door (only if your child is in Kindergarten)
To prevent accidents and allow children to play freely, we ask that parents and guardians please refrain from walking across the schoolyard pavement. This area is an active play zone for students before the bell.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school a safe environment for everyone.
If your child is in Grade 1 or Grade 2 this year, please see this very important letter from Ms. Myers.
Parents will be called and must arrange to pick up their child immediately.
Please ensure that our office has current contact information for both parents and emergency contacts. This information can be updated through the Parent Portal or by calling the school at 613-825-2520 and providing the office with the updated information.
This is a reminder that students must stay home for 24 hours after vomiting and 48 hours for gastrointestinal issues (such as diarrhea). Thank you for the collective effort to keep everyone healthy!
