Coming soon: OCSB’s 2nd Student Census will take place Feb 24th - March 13th

Each student in grades 4 through 12 will complete the census at school.  Parents will be sent a link to the census for each child in grades Kindergarten through 3.  Answers are voluntary and confidential.

The information collected will help us:

• Plan programs and services that support student success.

• Understand language, cultural, and identity needs in our schools.

• Improve resources for students with diverse backgrounds.

• Guide equity and inclusion work.

• Identify areas where additional support is needed; and

• Create schools where every student feels safe, welcome, and included.

Virtually: Thurs, Jan 29th at Noon or 7:00 PM  

Sign up for a session HERE using the same email address you will use to access the Google Meet.

Translation will be provided automatically through closed captioning. HERE are the directions to get this up in advance of the meeting.

In-Person: 

Wed, Feb 4th at St. Paul High School  (6:30 PM)   OR   

Thurs, Feb 5th Lester B Pearson High School (7:30 PM)

On-site child minding will be provided. We will provide interpretation services for: Arabic, Spanish, French, Mandarin and Tigrinya

St. Luke COUNCIL PIZZA TERM 2 - WEDNESDAYS starting February 4, 2026

Parent council is continuing to offer Wednesday pizza lunches from Domino’s. the last date to get your order in is Monday January 26th, 2026. No late orders will be accepted. All orders will be final. Please sign up through School Cash Online

Term 2 dates will be WEDNESDAYS February 4 - May 27 (16 weeks)

St. Luke COUNCIL Subway Order - March 5 - April 16 - $33.00

Parent Council is excited to once again offer Subway on the following dates: March 5, March 12, March 26, April 2, April 9 and April 16, 2026. DEADLINE to order is February 20, 2026. No late orders will be accepted and NO REFUNDS if student is absent on sub day.

Kindergarten Registration

It is that important time of year again, when we welcome our newest students to our system! Please note that Kindergarten Registration has started. If you have a child who turns 4 by December 31, 2026 we look forward to welcoming them in September. Please register them as soon as possible and spread the word to friends and neighbours to do the same.  All registration paperwork and instructions can be found on the board website at https://www.ocsb.ca/our-schools/kindergarten/
