FOR THE CHAPTER TEST - Make sure you do the definitions for the Entrepreneurial Language words at the beginning of the chapter.
A. Read pg. 89-90. Do observation test on pg. 91.
B. Activity: Statistics Canada
1. a. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the Statistics Canada website.
b. Now go to the homepage. Look at the "Browse information on a specific subject" section.
Explore a few of the categories.
Choose one that interests you and one that is related to your RST. Indicate which one you chose and how many subtopics there are for this category.
Select one subtopic and follow the links to see where it leads. Describe the information provided at this link. (Note: the CANSIM tables may be useful.)
Were you able to obtain information that was helpful to your RST? If yes, how will it be useful?
2. Return to the StatisticsCanada homepage.
Examine the "Key indicators" chart located on the page. Record the latest statistics available and indicate what month and year this information was gathered.

N. Entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs need to be creative thinkers. Even if you don't consider yourself to be especially creative, there are many resources that will help you generate innovative ideas or creative thoughts. In this activity, you will have a chance to browse several different Web sites that focus on ideas. Then, you will choose one site to investigate in more detail.
Briefly look through the following sites:

Infinite Innovations Brainstorming site (brainstorming and creative thinking)
O. Read pg. 110 to 111. Take detailed notes on More Ways to Generate Ideas.
