Students in Ms. Deslauriers' Grade 9 Science class completed projects on Canadian scientists and careers in various fields of science. In honour of December's claim to fame as the darkest month of the year, we are sharing a collection of student projects related to space.
In her project on Cosmology, Corinne explains the difference between cosmology, astronomy, and astrophysics. She also explains that "while there are differences between the three sciences, in reality, the lines between the three are blurred. These sciences all help us understand our universe and what lies beyond." We hope that these projects help you better understand each of these three fields of study.
