Welcome to Brookfield's Social Science Department! We offer a variety of elective courses that students can choose in grades 10, 11 and 12. Brookfield students have the opportunity to cook in our kitchens and learn about food and nutrition by taking Food and Nutrition (HFN2O) in grade 10, Food and Culture (HFC3M) in grade 11 and Nutrition and Health (HFA4U) in grade 12. Students interested in pursuing studies in Social Science are encouraged to take Introduction to Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology (HSP3U/C) in grade 11, either in English or French, and then World Cultures (HSC4M) in grade 12.
