The RC is the central hub for all things you may need in the hall. You will find a Resident Assistant (RA) or Office Assistant (OA) at the front desk or in the adjoining package room during normal operating hours.
RC Operating Hours:
Monday through Sunday; 12 PM - 9 PM, except on select university holidays (The RC will be closed on: November 28, December 24-26, January 1, January 20, February 17, June 19, and July 4)
The RC provides many complimentary items and services for our residents:
keys (if you get locked out of your room)
package pick-up
trash bags

Residents are responsible for providing their own laundry supplies. The laundry room is located on the 11th and 12th floors of the hall and can be accessed via all elevators. Only one dollar to wash and one dollar to dry. Each washer accepts detergent, bleach, and fabric softener.
Hercules, the laundry provider, has a Hercules CP mobile app, which allows residents to deposit money online. It is quite convenient and easy to use on all machines. Download the Hercules CP mobile app for Android or Apple.
NOTE: Residents are responsible for monitoring their articles of laundry. Do not leave items unattended. In the case of missing articles, please report this to the Resource Center or Campus Safety Desk. Ultimately, Paulson and NYU are not responsible for items that may go missing from the laundry facilities. Please be prompt in washing and removing your belongings from the laundry room(s).
There are several common spaces that residents may choose to use throughout the hall:
7th floor lounge
8th floor corner loft (at top of 7th floor steps)
9th floor lounge (for quiet study)
10th floor seminar room
13th floor lounge
15th floor seminar room (North tower)
16th floor seminar room (North tower)
These facilities are open at all times to residents except for reserved meetings and hall events. Please treat the facilities with care.
Additionally, we have a Community Kitchen located on the 7th floor for students to use.
Our 7th Floor Lounge houses our Community Kitchen which contains a fridge (for temporary storage), a microwave, an oven/stovetop, sink, and countertops. The kitchen is open at all times to residents except for reserved hall events. To maintain a clean and respectful shared space, students using the kitchen are expected to follow these guidelines:
All trash must be placed in the provided bin.
The stovetop and countertops must be cleaned and free of food residue after use.
Do not leave any food or dirty dishes in the sink. All personal ingredients, food items, and cooking utensils must be taken with you when you leave the space.
The refrigerator is not intended for long-term storage. Items will be discarded regularly and without notice. Please remove all ingredients and perishables when you’re done cooking.
The refrigerator is shared and accessible to other residents- items left behind are stored at your own risk.
