Hi! I’m Ariel (he/him/his) and I’m a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering with a Finance minor. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in El Salvador and moved to Virginia (DC area) in elementary school. I am fluent in Spanish and English and studied French in high school (I have sadly forgotten most of it, which is why I’m excited to practice this semester!). Some of my hobbies include baking/cooking, thrifting, crocheting, and jewelry making. I am excited to get to know you all and don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions, need suggestions or advice, or simply want a friend to chat with.

Philosophy is at the core of my studies and my career plans in research. Beyond that, I enjoy swimming and running, playing guitar, drawing, visiting museums and exhibitions, going to the cinema or theater, and exploring Paris - whether through summer picnics or cozy, winter raclette dinners with friends. As a Resident Assistant, I'm here to offer support and encouragement so you feel at home in Paris, in your studies, and within the student community. I'm happy to join you for city walks, coffee breaks, study groups, movie nights - and I'm always open to your ideas. I look forward to meeting you!
