NYU Graduate Programs
NYU Paris hosts several M.A. programs in January and over the summer, including Writers in Paris, the Institute for French Studies, and master classes with prominent NYU faculty.

Some tips if you are thinking of applying:
Explore different university websites;
Note application calendars and deadlines, which can differ from one university to another; be sure to start the process EARLY.
Opportunities for international students who are not participating in a formal university exchange program can be found on University websites under the “International Students” headings, and/or on the web pages of individual departments. Do not hesitate to contact local administrators if necessary.
Fees vary according to programs and level of study.
The Language Assistantship program (through the French Embassy in the US)
TAPIF Applications Now Open – French Culture
Open to US citizens or permanent residents. The program offers opportunities to English native speakers, aged between 20 and 35 years old, and proficient in French (level B1 or above) who wish to work as English language assistants in mainland France or its overseas territories with a 7-month contract (renewable). Language assistants are required to work 12 hours/week for a salary of about 800 euros (net salary after taxes). A visa is required for non-EU citizens.

Students from other nationalities can also apply to become language assistants in France via the France Education International program (same conditions but different procedure).

Language Learning – French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) offers many options to practice your French and experience cultural events (movie screenings, exhibitions among others)
Maison Française of New York University (website) where you can experience a wide variety of French-speaking cultural events such as lectures, screenings, concerts, and ciné-club.
DFP Diplôme de Français Professionnel de la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris: spécialités Affaires, Relations Internationales, Tourisme/Hôtellerie/Restauration et Santé.
DELF/DALF/TCF "tout public": official diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify that foreign candidates have acquired a certain level of French.
