NYU Paris housing is only available during the official program dates. Early check-ins and late check-outs are not possible. Please refer to your Housing Assignment Notification email for check-in times and procedures.
Specific check-out information will be emailed to all students in each residence hall two weeks prior to departure. Please keep the following in mind as you make your plans:
Preparation: Prior to check-out, please remove everything from the walls, pack and remove your belongings, clean the bedroom and common areas, empty trash, and place the furniture in order. Completing this step will help you avoid additional cleaning charges.
Avoid damage billing or additional charges:
All personal belongings and trash MUST be removed from your room before you check-out.
Residents will be billed at least $150.00 if any trash or abandoned debris is found in a room/suite upon check-out.
Kitchen kits must be cleaned and complete. There is a $50 charge for any missing kits or kits that have not been washed.
Please report any necessary repairs to the residence hall reception team before check-out.
Storage is not available on campus or in residence halls: Any items not removed after check-out will be discarded and residents will be billed accordingly. If necessary, ship items home or to secure off-campus storage before the end of the semester.
All residents must complete their checkout as instructed by the Student Life Manager and Resident Assistants (room inventories, kitchen kits...)
