Gluten-Free food is less common in France than you might be used to and restaurants might not be as knowledgeable about their dishes that do or do not contain gluten. Most supermarkets have at least a small dedicated gluten-free section, and you can find extensive sections in organic shops. French food that is naturally gluten-free: Buckwheat/Crêpe (galette de sarrasin), macarons, chocolate mousse, crème brulée (always double check to ensure no flour is added to these preparations and that they are not cooked with the same utensils/containers).
